30 Jul Image creation with Artificial Intelligence (AI) using Microsoft Bing Image Creator – Chrome and Neon Effect
Microsoft’s Bing Image Creator is an AI Tool that is powered by DALL-E. The images created by Image Creator cannot be used for commercial purposes. The user is given ‘Boosts’ which can be used to create images quickly. Once the boosts are exhausted, images can still be created but the process can be a bit slow. I have been using the tool for a while and have found that it is an iterative and a hit-and-miss process.
Depending upon the prompts given, the patience and wait can be worthwhile when the screen transforms in front of your eyes with breathtaking visuals created as a result of experimental prompts.
The Images created using Bing Image creator are generated in 1024 X 1024 pixels. These can be customised using any software, for example, Microsoft Designer https://designer.microsoft.com/.
Prompt engineering is a vast topic on its own. The sky is truly the limit when it comes to creating interesting and unusual images with AI.
The prompt for the images included the following keywords, “charcoal, chrome, line art, futuristic rooftop restaurant, neon, windmills, holiday resort.” Charcoal and Chrome give fantastic effects and Windmills are truly a delight to use as they stand tall and elegant. The geometrical form of a Windmill is striking and gives the image a unique dimension. The use of the keyword ‘neon’ gives the images their striking appearance.
Enjoy!
Disclaimer: It is imperative to acknowledge that these images are intended solely for non-commercial use. Evidenced by the visible Bing watermark on each image, their origin is rooted in Bing’s Image Creator tool. Reference to the website https://www.bing.com/new/termsofuse?FORM=GENTOS corroborates that these creations are suitable for legal personal, non-commercial purposes.
Furthermore, an assiduous evaluation of these images through TinEye Reverse Image Search and Google Lens https://lens.google.com/ confirms their uniqueness. While exact matches remain absent, it is plausible that resemblances emerge, attributed to the AI’s training on pre-existing artworks.
